This subject is taken by all JSS students and it forms a base for the separate studies of Biology, Chemistry and Physics at senior level. As such, it builds some of the basic concepts involved in each of these separate disciplines by looking at the living components as well as the non-living components of the environment.

Additionally College students are exposed to the ideas of objective observation, predictive hypothesis and inference.
