Business Studies is taken by all students in the junior classes. In this subject they can learn how business activities are co-ordinated to meet the desires of those involved in the business organisation.
This stimulating course not only gives the students necessary theoretical background but also provides opportunity for practical 'hands-on' experience in such areas as typewriting and office practice.
The course covers: - Office Practice - studying the clerical activities that take place in an office.
- Book-keeping - recording financial transactions into an
account, and including postings such as double-entry, profit
& loss, ledgers, journals and balance sheets.
- Typewriting - including practical typing skills.
- Commerce - studying the exchange of goods and services.
- Shorthand - including learning to read shorthand.
