Social Studies

Social Studies is taken by all junior level students at the College and it is especially popular. As the subject is an integration of History, Geography and other Social Sciences, the students see it as highly relevant and this is reflected in their commendable achievements in JSCE NECO and Kaduna State results. The Social Studies course provides a way for the students to become aware of problems in Nigeria and the world in general, as well as gaining insights into the inter-dependence between people groups. They relish learning about their cultural heritage and considering ways of preserving this, along with developing positive attitudes to citizenship.
