Academic Achievement

St Michael's Anglican Diocesan College prepares students for a number of external examinations and results to date have been commendable. At the JSS level, candidates sit both NECO JSCE and Kaduna State examinations while at the SS level, candidates study for NECO SSCE and WAEC examinations. With a firmly-established policy of zero-tolerance on examination malpractice, the College places emphasis on students understanding concepts and building up solid foundations for future studies.

NECO JSCE & Kaduna State results
As in previous years, the 2004 results are again most encouraging. The overall pass rate was good at 88.22% and for those exams most students sat all the subjects, in contrast to previous years when students have tended to sit fewer subjects. Kaduna State results reflected a similar pattern of academic achievement.

WAEC & NECO SSCE results
Results over the two years for which the College has been offering candidates at the senior level have been commendable. The College has a total pass by WAEC rating of 100.

Academic competitions
College students have met with considerable success in both state and zonal competitions. these include winning JETS competitions, HIV/AIDS, Women's Abuse and UNESCO essay competitions as well as gaining first place in quizzes such as that organised as part of the Tommy "B" Corporate Entertainment Talent Exposure Competition.
